Hard Reset Huawei Y7 PRIME
This guide will show you a simple way to hard reset HUAWEI Y7 prime to remove pattern/pin/password lock.Having trouble following this guide? Watch the video tutorial at the end of this guide.
1.Switch off your HUAWEI Y7 prime by pressing the Power button for a couple of seconds.
2.Afterwards press and hold Power and Volume up button at the same time for few seconds.
3.Release the power key when huawei logo appears on the screen.
4.Keep holding Volume up key until you see Android Recovery Menu as shown below:
5.Using the volume down button scroll down to the second option (more) and select it using the power button
6.You will be asked for verification to reset your device.Use the volume up/down to scroll to the second option(wipe data/factory reset) and select it using the power button
7.You will be brought to a screen as the one shown above type yes to confirm your reset after which you’ll scroll down to the first option (wipe data/factory) using the volume up/down keys and select the wipe data/factory reset option with the power button
8.Wait for the device to complete reset to 100%
9.After the reset select the 1st option reboot system now and wait for reboot to take place this normally takes upto 10 minutes
