Hard Reset TECNO Y2
This guide will show you a simple way to hard reset Tecno Y2 to remove pattern/pin/password lock.Having trouble following this guide? Watch the video tutorial at the end of this guide.
1.Switch off your Tecno Y2 by pressing the Power button for a couple of seconds.
2.Afterwards press and hold Power and Volume up button at the same time for few seconds.
6.Using the volume down button scroll down to the second option (recovery mode) and select it using the power button
7.Press the volume up and power button simultaneously as shown below to be brought to the android recovery menu
7.You will be brought to a screen as the one shown below use the volume down button to scroll to the fifth option (wipe data/factory reset)select it using the power button
8.Use the volume down key to scroll down to the option shown below(yes delete all user data) then select it using the power button.Wait for the reset to be complete
9.Select reboot system now using the power button and wait for the device to restart this normally takes upto 10 minutes.Congratulations you have successfully hard reset your Tecno Y2
