Hard Reset ITEL A16 Plus
This guide will show you a simple way to hard reset Itel A16 Plus to remove pattern/pin/password lock and also restore defaults. Having trouble following this guide? Watch the video tutorial at the end of this guide.
1. Switch off your Itel A16 Plus by pressing the Power button for a couple of seconds.
2. Afterwards press and hold Power and Volume down button for a few seconds.
3. Release the power button but keep holding volume down button when the Itel logo pops up.
4. Use volume down and up button to scroll to the option (wipe data factory reset) and select it using the power button.
5. You will be brought to a screen as the one shown below. Use the volume down key to scroll to the option (yes delete all user data) and use the power button to select it then wait for a few seconds for your device to reset
6. Select reboot system now using the power button and wait for the device to restart .
7. This normally takes upto 10 minutes.Congratulations you have successfully hard reset the Itel A16 Plus .

November 27, 2021 at 4:03 pmIt worked but there is a padlock icon on the top left corner making it difficult for me to continue. When I use the emergency information format to install quickshortcut maker, the moment I click on add contact there is a pop up that says permission denied.
I have forgotten my email password I used for that phone.
How can I solve this issue to use the phone?
